Founded in 1901 as the Wallin & Nordstrom shoe store in downtown Seattle, Nordstrom is now one of the country's largest and most respected fashion retailers. It added apparel to its selection of shoes in the 1960s, and in 1988 the chain expanded to the East Coast. Its online site offers the same merchandise you will find in its retail stores, including clothing and accessories for women, men, children and infants, as well as shoes, handbags, beauty products and fragrances, home decor and gifts and a number of designer collections. Don't overlook the "sale" section. Returns: A pre-paid return label is included with every order. Nordstrom will pay the return postage on exchanges. For returns, $5 will be deducted from your refund. You also can return or exchange any item at a Nordstrom retail store.
