Founded in 1996, AbeBooks (Advanced Book Exchange) is a global network of 13,500 dealers of used, rare and out-of-print books with regional databases for various countries, including the U.S. and Canada. Each dealer submits the books he or she has in stock to the AbeBooks database (at last count, it included more than 110 million new, used, rare and out-of-print books from thousands of booksellers around the world). Search for books by title, author or keyword or browse by subject. You'll be shown every available copy of each book in your country, with price and condition and the name of the dealer. If you purchase a book, AbeBooks will collect your credit card information and forward your shipping information to the dealer, who will send the book to you directly. Returns: 30 days if you're dissatisfied due to an error by bookseller or if the book doesn't arrive.
Sales Tax: Varies by retailer. Shipping: As an online network of independent booksellers, AbeBooks does not warehouse inventory, but rather facilitates the shipment of books directly from the bookseller. Each seller sets its own shipping rates.
